
Paul Capon
Co-Founder
Paul Capon is an investor, entrepreneur, and executive with more than a decade of experience managing teams, investing in businesses, and leading companies across private equity, venture capital, growth-stage, and distressed situations. He began his career as a U.S. Air Force officer, serving as a captain responsible for more than 150 personnel and completing over 100 convoy missions in Afghanistan.
In 2015, Paul founded LunaCap Ventures, a venture debt firm focused on hybrid growth capital investing, where he has led and executed more than 30 investments. His operating experience includes serving as Vice Chairman of a portfolio company that he helped guide out of distress and through a successful sale, as well as CEO of Wessex Press, where he increased revenue eightfold and led the company to its first profitable year since inception.
Paul is also the founder and CEO of Stellar Alliance, a private equity and venture capital group focused on aerospace and defense. He serves on the board of New Majority Capital and founded the LunaCap Foundation, a nonprofit providing scholarships to veterans and Mexicans attending leading business schools.
Paul holds a B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy and MBAs from Columbia Business School and London Business School.
